50-Question Intake Assessment
Every engagement starts with a rapid diagnostic: 50 targeted questions that map your current state—facility specs, genetics, batch history, environmental controls, IPM practices, media and nutrition, labor flow, post-harvest handling, and compliance. The goal is to surface constraints and rank them by impact and ease of fix. This gives us a shared baseline, a priority matrix, and clear before/after metrics (yield, potency, terpene retention, COGS, and labor hours per pound).
Room Environment
Environment is the engine. We verify sensor placement and calibration, then stabilize VPD, temp, RH, CO₂, and airflow across canopy zones. We tune dehu/AC staging, ensure true air mixing (not just movement), and align irrigation timing to VPD curves. A/B trials validate setpoints by cultivar. Result: tighter internodes, consistent transpiration, fewer swings, and predictable dry-back.
Soil Testing
Media tells the truth. We run saturated paste and standard soil tests to see EC, pH, macro/micro balances, and sodium/bicarbonate load. From there we correct with targeted amendments (Ca/Mg/K balance, sulfur for pH drift) and introduce biology where appropriate. Routine pull-points (day 0, mid-flower, pre-flush) prevent guesswork and keep feed/irrigation decisions data-driven.
Nutrient SOP
Feeding moves from “recipe” to process control. We document stock concentrations, mixing order, pH/EC targets by phase, irrigation volumes, and runoff interpretation. SOPs include: start-of-day checks, batch logs, corrective actions, and sign-offs. We standardize fertigation windows to plant demand (light + VPD), not the clock. The aim: consistent uptake, fewer lockouts, cleaner root zones.
Lighting
We align PPFD, DLI, and spectrum with cultivar and phase. Light maps (at canopy height) find hot/cold zones; dimming or height brings uniformity. We pair light intensity with CO₂ and feed strength to avoid metabolic bottlenecks. Photoperiod integrity (no light leaks) and ramp schedules reduce stress at flip and late flower. Outcome: improved efficiency (g/W), tighter bud set, better resin.
Cure / Dry SOPs
Post-harvest represents a huge area of focus for us. We define drying curves (temp/RH/airflow) to protect terpenes while avoiding case-hardening. Hang density, stem size, and room turnover are standardized. Curing uses staged burps or controlled headspace with water-activity checkpoints. Trimming SOPs preserve trichomes. Finished product is validated by water activity, terpene panel, and visual/feel standards.
Staff & Team Building
Systems only work if people do. We create role clarity, training ladders, checklists, and cadence (daily stand-ups, weekly improvement huddles). Visual management (whiteboards, batch trackers) makes targets obvious. Cross-training reduces bottlenecks; post-mortems after each harvest lock in lessons. Incentives tie to measurable outcomes (yield quality, compliance hits, waste reduction). We emphasize and implement comms standards such as Slack to allow teams to communicate efficiently and quickly with searchable channels to keep information organized and actionable.
Deliverables: a prioritized action plan from the 50-question intake, room-by-room set points, soil test interpretations with amendment map, a locked nutrient SOP, lighting map with target PPFD, cure/dry playbook, and a team cadence that sustains gains. The objective is simple: repeatable quality at lower unit cost—every harvest. Let us know how we can help you take your cultivation to the next level.
